Chris has been in the technology field for over 15 years, holding such roles as software engineer, sr. technology Recruiter and founding partner of Viri Technology.  He started his software career in the embedded and client applications arenas, developing inventory tracking systems using RFID chips. In the years since, he has had the opportunity to successfully serve companies like Expedia, Walt Disney Internet Group, Holland America, Wizards of the Coast and a host of startups in the Puget Sound area. His hands-on software development expertise has been invaluable in qualifying the most challenging roles for clients and giving real world career advice to fellow IT consultants. He has led teams to “vendor of the year” status, and performed in the top 5% of his recruiting peers for his “relationships first” approach.  He is actively involved in the tech community (Seattle Startup Week, UW Ruby on Rails Certification Board member) and holds a BS in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University.

Denae’ graduated from Vanguard University of Southern California with a BA in English. For the last seven years, she’s been in the staffing industry, starting as a recruiter and account manager, then transitioning into leadership. Denae’ has supported many large IT companies such as Amazon, Expedia, Facebook, Oracle and Microsoft and is very well versed in the Seattle tech landscape. She has a passion for developing recruiters and business development managers who pride themselves on building relationships and becoming experts on the clients they support.

JOE ROGEL – Lead Technical Recruiter

With 10+ years in recruitment, Joe is a lead and senior technical recruiter experienced in staffing roles in information technology, telecommunications, global non-profits, as well as working on niche non-technical positions. Joe leverages his communication skills by representing boutique IT consultancies where there is more emphasis on relationship building and the quality of delivery. Disciplines he normally recruits on are software engineers (Java, .NET, SDET’s, QA, etc.) BI developers, DBAs, technical project managers, business analysts, network/system admins, DevOps, and build engineers.

TIM WILKINS – Technical Recruiter

Tim is a former web developer turned tech recruiter. He comes from a background in psychology and web development and leverages his technical understanding with an innate ability to connect and build quality relationships. He is strongly versed in all aspects of web development, staying current and engaged with new technologies, trends and frameworks that inform his ability to recruit top quality talent.

Alivia is the newest member of the Viri team. Alivia pursued a career in recruiting because of her passion for the Seattle Startup community. In the past, she’s specialized in the DevOps space and will be responsible for new business development at Viri as we work to expand our footprint.
